The Milwaukee County Emergency Operations Plan is updated annually and provides overall guidance in response to major disasters throughout the County.

Emergency Operations are accomplished by utilizing the County Emergency Operations Plan [EOP], which includes:

  1. Basic Plan
  2. Direction and Control (Annex A)
  3. Warning & Communications (Annex B)
  4. Resource Management (Annex C)
  5. Law Enforcement (Annex D)
  6. Evacuation & Shelter (Annex E)
  7. Human Services (Annex F)
  8. Emergency Operations Plan
  9. Public Works/Engineering (Annex G)
  10. Public Health, Emergency Medical & Mortuary Services (Annex H)
  11. Radiological Protection (Annex I)
  12. Public Information & Education (Annex J)
  13. Fire and Rescue (Annex K)
  14. Damage Assessment & Recovery (Annex L)

  • Terrorism Incident Response Plan
  • Division Standard Operating Procedures
  • County-Wide Master Notification List

Resources for individual family emergency planning are available through the American Red Cross (ARC) (http://www.redcross.org/disaster) and from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) (http://www.fema.gov), including resources for business and industry.
