VALUING DIVERSITY AT MILWAUKEE COUNTY

 

 

The "Valuing Diversity" program is a Countywide initiative designed to raise awareness and sensitivity of this critical issue to increase County employee efficiency and productivity.  This training has the following objectives:

  • Understand the importance of creating a work environment where everyone is valued and treated with respect;

  • Recognize the biases we have about others and those that others may have about us;

  • Become aware of the impact these biases have on our behaviors, actions and decisions toward others;

  • Identify the skills necessary to create a work environment in which everyone is valued and treated with respect.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Open to all County employees

HOURS: 8.0

CLASS SIZE: Attendance will be limited to 30 employees per session.  Participants will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis
