REPORTS
RULE X, Section 1
REPORTS TO THE COMMISSION
(1) Upon request of the Commission, the Director of Human Resources shall make prompt and complete reports to the Commission with respect to any matter which affects the meeting of human resource needs of county departments. In addition, the Director of Human Resources shall:
(a) regularly provide the Commission with reports recommending the appropriate classification and pay range for newly created positions in the classified service or for positions where the existing classification has been reviewed to determine appropriateness; and
(b) inform the Commission in January of each year of all emergency appointments which have been in effect for more than six months; and
(c) inform the Commission of the need to modify existing or create new Civil Service Commission rules.
(2) Every report shall contain such facts as will make it possible for the Commission to make an appropriate decision with respect to the matter under consideration.
RULE X, Section 2
CIVIL SERVICE PERSONNEL COMMITTEES
The Commission may provide for the establishment of civil service personnel committees, whose duties shall be to meet, make suggestions to and cooperate with the Commission in meeting the human resource needs of county departments. Such committees shall be composed of appropriate individuals as appointed by the Commission upon the recommendation of the Director of Human Resources.
RULE X, Section 3
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Each officer or employee in the classified service and each person whose name appears on an eligible list for original or promotional appointment, reinstatement list or layoff/recall list (23) or transfer list, shall report to the Director of Human Resources the address of his or her place of residence, and shall promptly report any changes in such address. Failure to report a change of address shall result in removal of an individual's name from all lists. |
