Public Information

The Public Information & Training Coordinator is responsible for development and implementation of mass communication products about the department for public education and information. That includes the DNS WEB site, brochures, forms, documents, booklets, newsletters, news releases, video programs and visual support services. The Training Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, coordination and some implementation of training programs for all DNS staff. That includes tracking the certification of over a dozen State Certifications by nearly 100 inspectors. From time to time the department coordinates training sessions for inspectors interested in additional certifications. Outside students and inspectors are often encouraged to enroll.
