Official Payments Corporation, service provider to Milwaukee County, currently originates Credit Card and E-Check payments. Official Payments Corporation will charge you a convenience fee of 2.75%, based on the amount of delinquent property tax paid by a credit card or a flat fee of $2.75 if paid by E-Check. This fee, charged by Official Payments Corporation, covers operating costs associated with servicing credit card transactions. Milwaukee County receives no part of the convenience fee, receiving only the tax amount.

The credit card or E-Check transaction is strictly between you and Official Payments Corporation, so any issues or disputes specific to the credit card payment must be addressed with Official Payments Corporation.
