The MCAMLIS project uses the State Plane Coordinate System, Wisconsin South Zone, North American Datum of 1927 (NAD27) for its control survey and mapping activities.  Accordingly, the coordinate system utilized in all MCAMLIS digital mapping files is NAD27.  All hypsometric information contained in the digital mapping files is referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD29).

The MCAMLIS digital map files are a work subject to a copyright protection (©Subcommittee: AT&T and We Energies, 1995).  Under the terms of the License Agreement in effect between the MCAMLIS Steering Committee and the Licensee, these files may only be used to carry out official Licensee business.  These files may not be redistributed in whole or in part to other parties without further authorization of the copyright holders.  Licensee staff having access to these files must be made aware of these restrictions.
