Keep Drug Paraphernalia Out
Keep Drug Paraphernalia Out
A new law to keep items used as drug paraphernalia out of neighborhood stores, gas stations, alcohol and tobacco outlets and convenience stores was announced by Ald. Wade, co-sponsor of the legislation which was authorized by a change in state law. The city can now prohibit the possession, manufacture or delivery of drug paraphernalia by persons 17 years of age and older. The previous law did not apply to adults. From left, Police Chief Nannette Hegerty, Inspector Edward Liebrecht, Ald. Wade and Ald. Jim Bohl.
