Are dogs allowed in the county parks? |
Currently County Grounds Ordinance #47.06(1) states that animals are not allowed in parks, picnic areas or Tot Lots. An exception is at the Lakefront. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a 6-foot leash. A longer leash is not allowed. Dog owners are responsible for their pets. Animal litter must be picked up and disposed of properly. |
Are alcoholic beverages allowed in the park? |
Drinking of alcohol is prohibited without a permit. |
What time do the parks close? |
All parks close at 10:00 P.M. |
Can I drive my car on the pathways inside the park? |
Personal vehicles are not allowed in the park. Speed limits in and around most parks and parkways is 25 mph. Click here for Park System information: |
