Toni Clark is serving her second full term on the County Board. She was elected the 2nd District Supervisor in a special election on July 15, 2003 and re-elected in 2004 and 2008.

 

Supervisor Clark is the Chairperson of Milwaukee County's Economic and Community Development Committee, is Vice-Chair of the Transportation, Public Works and Transit Committee and is a member of the Health and Human Needs Committee.

 

Supervisor Clark is a graduate of John Marshall High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Educational Policies and Community Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). She also holds a Master of Science Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UWM. She has been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. since 1993 and is a past president of the Student Government Association at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. For five years Supervisor Clark taught second, third and sixth grades at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School, and she is a member of the Milwaukee Teachers' Education Association (MTEA).

 

Supervisor Clark has been an active participant in a number of political campaigns including those of Governor Jim Doyle, Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager, and Alderman Joe Davis, Sr. She also served as Campaign Manager for Alderman Willie Wade.

 

As a resident of the 2nd District for more than 20 years, Supervisor Clark is committed to economic development, personal safety and to the quality of life issues that affect residents of our community. She is focused on ensuring a responsive, accessible and accountable government for citizens of Milwaukee County.
