Animal Sponsorship




Tyler Toad, Sally Salamander, and Tufts E. Screech Owl, are among the animal-educators at the Wehr Nature Center. These animals play a key role in the educational programs for children. By sponsoring an animal, you become a partner in providing the best care for the animals at Wehr.

For your sponsorship, you receive not only the satisfaction of helping your selected animal, but also a certificate and a color photo of your sponsored animal.

Animals may have more than one sponsor. Such popularity helps all of the animal-educators at Wehr.

When you sponsor an animal-educator, you provide funds for food, medical care, and maintenance of animal habitats. Animals' lives are subject to sudden changes. If an animal is removed from the educational program, you may transfer your sponsorship to another animal. Animal sponsorship does not imply any legal rights over the animal or its care.
